“I’ll just grow a *few* flowers”

In case you’re wondering, I did just grow a few flowers. Then a few more. Then all of them. As it turns out, sunflowers are a gateway to zinnias which lead you to growing dahlias and before you know it you’re spending all your free time playing in the dirt and searching for your snips.

In fact, Dirt & Lace isn’t just a whimsical business name, it was born out of my ability to “only pull a few weeds” because “I’ll just be out here a minute” justifying not changing out of my nicer clothes. *These clothes have since been downgraded to garden attire.

**My “nicer clothes” are not lace, however, it’s catchy and I have been told I wear a lot of clothing that looks like doilies.

By day I'm a nurse, and in every other free moment you'll usually find me outside planting seeds, harvesting flowers, or experimenting with ways to preserve the blooms grown on my little farm.

What started as planting "just a few flowers" quickly turned into a passion for growing beautiful things and turning those blooms into jewelry, art, and keepsakes that last long after the season ends.

What Sets Us Apart

Fresh + Preserved Creations

We offer both seasonal fresh flowers and hand-dried, preserved blooms — creating products that delight year-round, from bouquets to wearable art.

Handcrafted Jewelry & Keepsakes

Each piece is lovingly handcrafted. Our farm-grown flowers are transformed into jewelry, décor, and gifts that are truly one-of-a-kind.

Personal, local connection

Rooted in Pendleton, Indiana, we interact directly with our community through farmers markets, pop-ups, and workshops — creating a personal connection you won’t find with larger floral brands.

Farm-to-finish flowers

Every bloom begins right here on our farm. From seed to harvest, we nurture our flowers with care so they’re ready to become jewelry, ornaments, cloches, and keepsakes.

Workshops & Crafternoons

We believe creativity is best paired with flowers grown with care.

Our Crafternoon workshops give you the chance to create your own unique piece using blooms harvested and hand-dried on our farm. It’s more than a workshop — it’s a way to connect with nature, get a little messy, and leave with a whimsical piece of your own making.
